May 1st, 2026 — We Are Flying Again
Dear friends, dear members,
On May 1st, 2026, the Aeroclub of Lebanon returns to the skies.
After years of patience, resilience, and quiet work, this moment is finally here.
Not as a simple reopening — but as the result of a collective effort carried by belief, loyalty, and commitment.
Throughout the years, the Aeroclub never truly disappeared.
“The Aeroclub lived through its people.”
Through members who stayed connected, who believed in its future, who carried its spirit even when the hangars were silent.
Through a team that continued to work, step by step, to bring it back to life.
And through the leadership of Mr. Michel Abboud, whose determination never faltered, and whose vision guided this long journey back.
Today, that effort becomes reality.
Engines start again.
Aircraft return to the runway.
Students come back.
Pilots reconnect with what brings them together.
But more importantly, a community reunites.
“This day belongs to everyone who believed.”
Everyone who stayed.
Everyone who contributed — in big ways or small — to keeping this legacy alive.
The Aeroclub of Lebanon has always been more than a place to fly.
It is a place of transmission, of passion, and of shared history.
Today, a new chapter begins — stronger, more grounded, and looking firmly toward the future.
We look forward to welcoming you again, very soon.
With pride and gratitude,
The Aeroclub of Lebanon
A new chapter begins — yours can start here
From first flights to lifelong passion, the Aeroclub invites you back to the sky.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the skies
With gratitude for your loyalty and commitment,
and with confidence in what lies ahead.
